About the event
All relationships take work — including the one you have with yourself. Whether you're partnered or single, we hope your connections bring you joy. Over the course of this workshop, we'll explore ways to find balance in your relationships, understand yourself and your partner(s) more fully, improve intimacy, and explore what brings you joy. If you're single, this is also a chance to reflect on what you want in relationship to others, build self-understanding, and prepare for the connections ahead.
You are invited to join us either in-person or virtually for a Saturday morning workshop to explore how you can strengthen your relationships, improve communication, and enhance intimacy. The retreat will include opportunities to learn more about Radical Acceptance, the Nurture Play Structure Model, Bridging Communication, and more. The workshop will incorporate Queer Theory and discuss Cis-normative, Heteronormative, and Closet Trauma, specifically how they impact LGBTQIA+ relationships.
